We are currently hiring for an EDI Rejection Analyst for our Tampa, FL office. The EDI Rejection Analyst will be responsible for research, analysis and communication of inbound claim rejections.

• Analyzes provider claim rejections and responds to email inquiries from providers and internal customers.• Monitors the rejection rate daily and provides timely reporting to management regarding production issues and trends• Analyzes rejection performance and actively looks for opportunities to improve rules or educate providers to improve claim acceptance rate.• Aides in maintenance of rejection rules by participating in requirements writing sessions and other meetings as a subject matter expert, as needed.• Interfaces with Clearinghouses and Health plans on claim rejection issues.• Participates in the IT Monthly Release Checkout.• Works cross-functionally with other key departments to identify and implement process improvement opportunities • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Associates degree in Health Information, Healthcare Administration, or the equivalent; or a minimum of 2 years of equivalent Healthcare experience. • Excellent communication (verbal/written), organizational and interpersonal skills. • Problem solving and decision making skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Strong attention to detail. • Strong Customer service skills. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Experience in medical billing or collections work is desired.• Experience working with healthcare reimbursement systems is desired.
