Carpet One Floor and Home has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Professional Flooring Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate be very tech savvy, organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. The position will involve measuring job sites and producing information so that our sales team can create accurate quotes. Our flooring estimator helps create quotes for carpet, wood flooring, luxury vinyl plank, ceramic tile and laminate. The position will involve traveling to our customer's homes, measuring and estimating using our software and collecting pertinent installation details. The estimator would then work with the sales team to finalize the quotes, and make sure the appropriate products are ordered. Estimators typically work with the installation crews to make sure all our customer's expectations are met.

• Provide accurate field measurements using a Leica laser measure device, photos and job site assessment.
• Ability to do take offs from blueprints
• Ability to conceptualize the best layouts for the flooring of choice
• Communicate with customers about color/design options for flooring choices

• Proven experience as estimator or similar position
• Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset

• Thoroughness and reliability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience with estimating software preferred

• Knowledge of Measure Square flooring software
