Summary:

Reporting to the USA Industrial Sales Director, the Eastern USA Industrial Sales Manager is a crucial team member of the Certarus Team and future growth strategy in the Eastern USA region. The successful candidate will demonstrate industry leading outside sales management skills and is responsible for maximizing revenue by creating, managing and implementing best in class sales development activities to maximize growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve volume, margin, and contracted sales targets for compressed natural gas (CNG) to the commercial industrial market for the region
• Manage all Eastern USA utility based clients
• Lead a group to provide strong focus on the pipeline outage and peak shaving trucked natural gas space.
• Lead a team in developing opportunities that include both utility work and other market segments
• Conduct frequent visits to client sites and offices throughout the area to generate sales, maintain and develop relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Develop a strong relationship with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty
• Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of the business by recommending solutions that best fit the customer’s requirements and future needs
• Work closely with operations and support functions to bring customer needs to fruition
• Strong ability to manage relationships at all levels

Qualifications:

• Requirement: The successful candidate will have a minimum +7 years of experience in a utility related role with demonstrated success in power and/or natural gas utility sectors
• Candidate will have an understanding of the gas commodity market to understand market opportunities.
• Candidate will have strong experience in the Utility and pipeline space and will have a large utility contact rolodex
• Experience in negotiating contract terms, i.e., T&Cs, NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, etc.
• Willingness to travel
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
• Candidate must reside in an Eastern USA state; ideally NY or MA, with the ability to travel frequently
