Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, public health, healthcare economics, finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of work experience and education; Master’s degree (MMA, MHA) preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in data analytics, public health, or healthcare research and/or reporting
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate large amounts of data into facts and usable reports
  • Strong communication skills; ability to present findings in a variety of written and verbal reports to all levels of leadership
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Working knowledge of various payment systems (i.e., Hospice, HHA, DRG, Capitation PMPM, Outpatient, Physician)
  • Strong research skills
  • Experience in data management and visualization skills
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis, pro forma, and business plan development
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and competency in accounting and analysis including regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgement to solve problems
  • Team player and self-starter who is accurate and detail oriented
  • Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritize a variety of duties
  • Able to convey a positive image of the Company to customers
  • Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides the predictive analysis with a healthcare policy/health economics perspective and socialization of analytics capability and roadmap with Marketing, Marketing Operations and external agencies.
  • Performs research initiatives, leveraging digital data, to deliver rapid, actionable and comprehensive insights designed to enable strategy and marketing decisions.  Performs ad hoc research.
  • Creates, analyzes and produces reports from planning decision support systems to be used as information in decision making for strategic plans and business development opportunities.
  • Communicates market and industry changes, trends and findings along with recommendations and project plans in a proactive and timely manner to support the Organization’s activities and projects.
  • Develops complex financial models to support business plans for new and existing programs.
  • Produces dashboards to support the tracking and reporting of financial, clinical and outcome measures.
  • Contributes to the design and implementation of evaluations and effectiveness studies to assess the outcomes and performance of interventions and projects.
  • Develops statistical methods to solve specific project questions/problems.
  • Integrates data from multiple sources including: health care claims; cost and budget data; program participation data; beneficiary population and beneficiary enrollment data.
  • Collaborates in the preparation of reports and presentations.  Writes and edits substantive sections of proposals and reports as well as provides input to other facets of the proposal.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
