Summary:           

Crazy Shirts’ purpose is to create original and memorable artwork on quality products that take our customers on the endless vacation in everyday life. The Merchandising Assistant supports this mission by supporting the Merchandising Department with accurate, quality and on time completion of assignments.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Supports all areas of Merchandising with administrative support (Buying, Purchasing)
• Maintains overall SKU database and works as a team with Art, Merchandising, Production, Accounting, and IT to ensure proper SKU maintenance.
• Coordinates price changes, markdowns and related merchandise price functions.
• Prepares statistical data, re-caps, reports, and other related spreadsheets utilizing system reports and Business Intelligence tools.
• Inputs new and replenishment purchase orders in systems.
• Manages and updates numerous reports for department. 
• Responsible for providing quality, accurate and on time support for the department. 
• Keeps all informed of status of task and projects according to deadlines. 
• Other related duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Merchandising or purchasing experience preferred.
• PC experience required including advanced Excel use and Microsoft Outlook
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Ten key by touch and accurate data entry skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
