Overview

Our Human Resources team is growing and has a need to add on an additional resource to our benefits team.

The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the preparation and processing of Crestron benefits offerings to include the administration and coordination of employee benefits. This position will report to the Benefits Manager and support the Benefits Specialist.   

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the administration of benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life, FMLA, disability, worker’s compensation, FSA, and 401(k) plan).
  • On boarding – creates orientation packages, conducts new hire orientation; follow ups with new hires prior to their benefits enrollment deadline.
  • Off boarding - handles the benefits portion of orientation and organizes COBRA paperwork.
  • Assists with Annual Benefits Open Enrollments, Benefits Fairs and wellness programs.
  • Manages benefits enrollment and education, provides benefits support to employees.
  • Responds to a high volume of emails and messages from the HR Benefits Mailbox and answers telephone inquiries in a timely manner. Escalates issues to Benefits Manager as necessary.
  • Reviews monthly invoices for benefit plans.
  • Creates and maintains benefit files.
  • Coordinates and maintains 12-month calendar for both Wellness and Fitness events.
  • Generates periodic reports from systems.
  • Validates employee benefits data in system(s).
  • Assist with projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years high volume benefits experience
  • Provides excellent employee support and service through strong interpersonal skills and effective follow through and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred a plus.
  • High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
