Job Description Summary :

The Account Supervisor will provide support to senior leadership team members in our Short Form Media group as well as manage accounts of all sizes. H/she will guide clients in making informed business decisions by presenting and delivering top performing media strategies and campaigns.

H/she will also interface with and utilize other departments within the agency (Analytics, Media Buying, Accounting, Strategic Account Services), and applying market place knowledge. Individual will approach each work day with a positive attitude and genuinely cares about the impact they have on others.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Client & Account Management

  • Comfortable in leading the client through the rationale behind proposed media plan, go-to-market strategy, execution and performance management
  • Responsible for direction and management of media landscape and the impacts to performance
  • Assist VP, Account Director and senior team members with campaign kickoff meetings, onboarding and management of budgets, and performance calls
  • Work closely with Account Director and Brand Science team members for strategic recommendations around campaign performance and insights
  • Ensure that client expectations and requirements are clearly understood and that agency deliverables meet those expectations
  • Travel will be expected for face to face client meetings

Business Development

  • Assist in development of strategy and content for RFP responses
  • Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients to drive growth
  • Pitch new business alongside business development team as the Short Form media expert; prepare and produce presentations with senior team members and other departments when necessary
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews and weekly insights with limited guidance of senior team members; PowerPoint presentations will be insight driven and delivered through ‘story-telling’ vs. simply sharing data
  • Understands and articulates Edge’s analytics capabilities & USP to clients, and assist them in making more informed media decisions

Personal Development & Training:

  • Actively learning the difference between brand vs ROI media strategy and understands how to calculate brand metrics
  • Lead the Short Form Account Management team independently and know when to seek guidance
  • Serve as role model to team members in knowledge base, presentation skills, internal communication style and commitment to bettering the agency
  • Contributor in building committed relationships within Edge and consistently promote the shared goals of the department and team leader

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Communications
  • Minimum 5 years of account management experience in a similar position at a fast-paced agency or on the client side; experience working on larger, retained clients a plus
  • Experience in media, performance marketing or direct response (TV or internet) experience required
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization and fostering strong cross-functional teamwork
  • Self-motivated individual who can work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with short timelines in a fast-paced dynamic environment; manage projects from concept to completion
  • Works well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy, strict confidentiality and professional demeanor
  • Has an inherent desire to learn and collaborate with others
  • Is an active listener and an active participant in team discussions
  • Is approachable: engages with coworkers and makes it easy for others to engage with you
