Your Role and Responsibilities
The Data Scientist will be responsible for data management, visibility, and optimization activities. The position requires both technical and non-technical skills to contribute to tasks that include data engineering, data science, client and partner interface, technical writing, presentation, and agile development.
The Data Scientist’s job duties will include:
- Data management, catalog management, data optimization, data analysis, and data visualization, among others
- The Data Scientist will use techniques from statistical analysis, causal inference modeling, and/or supervised and unsupervised machine learning to deliver business insights and analytics solutions
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with DataBricks and AWS Services
- Experience with Graph Data Stores and analysis techniques – Neo4J, Cypher Query Language
- Experience with RDBMS SQL
- Experience in operations research and analysis
- Experience with Python, CP4D, and ability to pick up most BI platforms (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 1 year of experience in supply chain data analytics
- At least 1 year of experience with GIS
- At least 1 year of experience with python and SQL
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Experience with Public Sector Clients (US Federal, Higher Education, State and Local Governments)
- General knowledge and experience with leading automation software products
