Summary of Opportunity:
The Digital Content Strategist will help manage the implementation of all brand strategies in the digital space and be the lead on all email marketing. This role is focused on building brand awareness, driving conversions, creating compelling content, and delivering an optimal online customer experience. This role is part of a small but growing team and a great opportunity to wear multiple hats.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and eCommerce team to develop and implement the digital marketing strategy launching innovative and creative campaigns in support of the product, brand, and marketing initiatives
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and eCommerce team to develop, deploy, and manage all online and social community activity including web content updates, email marketing, search, video, advertising, and mobile marketing to acquire and retain customers, strengthen community engagement, increase brand exposure, online & offline sales, and awareness
  • Create content for digital channels, email marketing, etc ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with brand management, creative, and other departments to lead the implementation of integrated digital campaigns
  • Track & monitor results providing weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing editorial and new initiatives
  • Responsible for creating and implementing all email marketing strategies and content on an ongoing basis
  • Act as marketing's expert on technologies & trends within the digital space and advise on best practices and emerging platforms so the company can continue to innovate
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and eCommerce team to maintain optimize and maintain websites
 
Experience:
  • In-depth understanding of digital platforms - WooCommerce, Klaviyo, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Yieldify among others
  • Highly experienced Graphic Design skills in Photoshop
  • Adept email marketer with a passion for driving e-commerce sales
  • Strong consumer understanding skills, ability to translate customer insights into successful marketing programs, and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement integrated digital strategies that consistently exceed planned objectives
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills
  • Exceptional project & time management skills
  • Able to work with a variety of people at all levels of the organization
  • Must be a passionate and avid social media and digital enthusiast
  • Highly creative and self-motivated
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and work on a variety of different projects
  • Passion for healthy living and natural products industry preferred
 
Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in online marketing (email marketing, e-commerce, SEO, web management) with at least 2-3 years immersed in digital marketing strategy & execution
  • Significant project management experience
  • Hands-on experience developing content and plans for online communities and social networking sites in a professional capacity, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube account management
  • Development experience desired, but not required
  • CBD Marketing experience a bonus!
  • Regression Testing
  • Amazon Seller Central PPC and account management a plus
