What does a Project Coordinator do at companies like IRWIN NATURALS?
The Project Co-ordinator - Marketing is responsible for routing all artwork from Primary Packaging to Marketing, Sales and Consumer collateral for all brands within the Irwin Naturals suite of brands. This position interfaces with internal teams and departments as well as external vendors to ensure timely execution of all deliverables. This position is also responsible for filing, routing and maintaining current artwork files as well as archiving and filing all updated versions of artwork for all products and brands.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor progress and prioritize cross-functional team from marketing, design, regulatory, legal, operations and print vendors to ensure product artwork and collateral materials are developed on time and to quality standards.
- Assist in developing and publishing comprehensive milestone, design and prepress schedules for approximately 100 projects annually.
- Schedule and attend cross-functional meetings with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Traffic artwork throughout the building, including creating projects, assigning tasks and meeting timelines for approximately 800 pieces of artwork annually
- Work closely with the design team to ensure artwork updates are being done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Interact with other departments to ensure necessary information and files are provided in a timely fashion.
- Identify missing deliverables and escalate issues for resolution
- Update & maintain master product files
- Generate UPCs & product specification sheets
- Coordinate file and proof delivery to print vendors
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal and communication skills. Able to provide information thoroughly and accurately.
- Positive, can-do attitude

- Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to multi-task, command multiple projects and effectively determine priorities.
- Proficient in Excel.
- B.A. preferred in related field of study
- 2+ years of related experience in project coordination, trafficking, or project management experience
- Understanding of the Supplement Industry from a regulatory aspect would advantageous but not necessary
- Experience working in a Design and Marketing environment.
