LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL Division Manager - Membership Salary in the United States

Job Summary

The Division Manager of Membership develops and implements strategic plans, programs, and field operations to support association membership growth through new club, new member, and retention programs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Facilitates successful implementation of international membership initiatives as passed by the Board of Directors.
• Directs the operations of the Member Experience and the Young Lions & Leo Programs departments including leading, managing and evaluating staff.
• Manages the association’s membership development programs aimed to attract and retain members.
• Develops and promotes membership tools and facilitates distribution to Lions clubs.
• Serves as liaison to Lions clubs and provides membership resources to Lions leaders.
• Manages inventory of membership resources and initiates or fulfills requests for distribution to Lions clubs.
• Oversees the membership development recognition and award programs for Lions clubs.
• Communicates and promotes membership information (i.e. successes, plans and needs) internally to other functional areas.
• Serves as the Membership functional liaison to the Board of Directors and provides reports as requested.
• Administers and controls the division’s expense budget within budgetary guidelines to contribute to cost-effective operation of the association.
• Provides functional input to the association’s strategic plan and executes division strategic objectives.
• Performs other responsibilities and assignments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced degree in business administration (MBA) with a focus in marketing or equivalent experience
• Ten or more years of marketing, brand management, promotions, advertising, and management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• International work experience beneficial
• Domestic and international travel is required for this role, approximately 10% of the time
