Mavenlink is looking for a motivated and exceptional Associate HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in support of our growing business!

In this role, the Associate HR Business Partner will report directly to the Director of HR to support the General and Administrative functions (Finance, IT, Marketing, BusOps). This position will also include project-oriented work to deliver upon a broad range of strategic deliverables in the HR department such as employee engagement, talent management, leadership development, compensation, and people operations. The successful Associate HRBP successfully balances the needs of employees and at the same time, satisfies Mavenlink’s business objectives. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees.

Job Responsibilities
  • Forge relationships with all levels of employees and provide a positive impact by serving as a consultant and support to managers regarding employee relations issues, employee engagement tactics, and company policies/employment laws.
  • Support multiple employee client groups across different departments. Work closely with all levels of management to identify, develop, and execute upon a people-oriented strategy that strengthens the culture and morale of assigned client groups.
  • Coaches and advises employees and leaders on tactics and solutions that help to drive a strong performance culture.
  • Assists in planning and managing HR projects; negotiates and meets deadlines, in addition to defining, analyzing, measuring, and evaluating results.
  • Support the facilitation of talent development initiatives for learning and development, employee retention, succession planning, and career development.
  • Iterate and improve upon our onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure we are always delivering a stellar experience at both ends of the employee life cycle.
  • Conduct analyses using people metrics and people data to discover possible solutions to improve culture and retention.
  • Continuously improve the company’s employee handbook and be an owner of our policies to maintain a positive employee experience.
  • Brokers the relationship between the Business and the Talent Acquisition function related to business strategy, organizational structure, talent solutions, and other workforce planning challenges.
  • Participates in or leads special committees or councils to strategically develop, implement, and administer HR programs and policies for the organization.
  • Manages or participates in projects as required in functional and cross-functional business and/or HR initiatives.
  • Maintains knowledge of and ensures compliance with employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills:
  • BA/BS in HR or related field; Master’s in HR/MBA or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years Human Resources experience. Proven experience as an HR Generalist preferred
  • Understanding of general human resource policies and procedures and proficient knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Proven track record of implementing and executing on people programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional people skills with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Proven track record in building strong relationships with employees
  • Willing to address difficult and ambiguous situations head-on with resilience, agility, and flexibility
  • Desire to work as part of a strong team but with a results-driven approach
  • Self-starter who is empowered to conceptualize and drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight and follow up
  • Able to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; Google Suite; HRIS systems will be a plus
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP preferred
