About the Team:

The New Product and Business Development team defines new concepts and develops partnerships across all product areas at Rally. We own relationships and drive communication with internal stakeholders, enterprise teams, and external partners.  The team also leads development of market strategies and business cases for strategic initiatives. We generate revenue through Marketplace. We anticipate product needs, and evaluate whether to build, partner, or buy for a specific capability or new product offering. We field incoming partnership requests and determine strategic fit for Rally.

Your day to day: 

• Sourcing and performing due diligence on new partnership opportunities
• Researching market sizes, competitors, capabilities, and policies
• Producing market overviews and competitor assessments
• Monitoring government regulations and policies that impact Rally’s products and markets
• Providing support for developing Rally’s perspective on potential new markets and product features
• Participating in meetings with Rally’s internal leadership and external stakeholders

Your core responsibilities:

• Support the development, analysis, and execution of concepts and partnerships that support key enterprise goals regarding revenue, engagement, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and new capabilities
• Help grow the concept pipeline
• Research partnership opportunities with new brands for Marketplace, a feature within Rally’s reward platform that offers discounts on popular items and services
• Conduct market research and competitive assessments
• Create basic financial models in Excel to assess sales and revenue opportunities
• Create compelling presentation material
• Assist with reporting and operations in internal and external BD meetings 
• Other duties/assignments as the need arises

About you: 

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree, or equivalent practical experience, or a recent graduate
• Familiarity with Google Enterprise (Gmail, Gcal, Google Docs, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work confidently, both independently and in a team
• Naturally curious and creative: constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
