Inside Sales Agent
General Purpose:
This entry level sales role is responsible for attracting new Customers, therefore adding new revenue to the existing base of TPx customers. The Inside Sales Agent position requires the Agent to achieve a monthly quota of new revenue. Inside Sales Agents are highly focused on a suite of Managed Services featuring the UCx Unified Communications Platform. Reports to (Supervisor/Manager):

None Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adherence to call center availability standards.
• Generate and transmit qualified referrals to internal TPx Sales Organizations.
• Use TPx-provided systems for lead and opportunity management.
• Perform online product demonstrations.
• Advise prospective customers of most suitable company solutions by answering incoming inquiries and responding via outbound calls.
• Influence customers to buy products or service by following existing sales process & a list of prepared profiling & qualifying questions or script.
• Document all profiling information, cross-selling results, marketing activities & transactions in CRM system.
• Maintain sales operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting needed changes.
• Maintain quality customer service by following organization standards in a timely manner.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending regular product and solution training,
• Review publications and potentially customer events.
• Contribute to team effort by completing related goals and duties as needed. Peripheral Duties:
• Engage Solution Architect resources for additional discovery and solution design and approval.
• Gather competitive information from opportunities.
• Submit NSRs and ICBs. These indicate the TPx process used to garner special pricing or consideration to close a sale.
• Save, sell and analyze competitive offers.
• Provide training, coaching and lead by example to your new co-workers in order to improve and maintain team’s performance.
• Perform other duties as deemed by Management. Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• Graduation from and/or attendance at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Prior Account Management Experience or Customer Service Preferable.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent oral, written, time management and presentation skills.
• Must be capable of balancing between fulfilling customers’ needs and meeting company expectations and goals.
• Knowledge of computer and word processing systems and programs.
• Experience working in a high-paced telecommunications environment.
• Strong explanation and resolution skills.
• Ability to work under a quota retirement plan.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility.
• Ability to learn new processes and procedures and stay current on products services promotions and technology. Special Requirements:
• Must have valid driver license with clean DMV record. Tools and Equipment Used:
