UDT Account Representative for SLED Salary in the United States

The company also provides technical, professional and managed services. This is a full-time remote position and is based in Texas.   

Account Representative - SLED

As the Account Representative, you will be responsible for qualifying, developing and closing sales opportunities within the SLED Texas division within UDT.  Your role will consist of interacting with field sales, pre-sales, technical engineers, partners and customers to identify customers' needs and develop effective solutions.  

Responsibilities: 

The Account Representative will be assigned and responsible for a designated territory either geographically or as a specific list of accounts and will regularly:

• Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to cold calling, conducting in person meetings, and partnering with vendors or manufactures
• Responsible for effective and proactive communication with vendors and manufacturers to negotiate the best rates and pricing possible to help increase margins and build long lasting relationships.
• Works with support teams to technically qualify and advance opportunities to closure including deal registrations.
• Ability to execute on business plans and can effectively interface at many levels with executives and senior managers.
• Communicates with the clients to identify their needs and present new and existing product configuration as solutions
• Responsible for quoting pricing information, creating price sheets, customer proposals and generating sales orders
• Develop and maintain solid business relationships within the various decision-makers and influencers at all levels at each target account
• Develop partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives and optimize the joint selling opportunities within the territory
• Presents a Quarterly Business Review (QBR) to Sales/Ops Manager each quarter which will focus on past performance and expectations of current quarter, analysis of pipeline, key wins, and personal improvement goals
