Hourly Wage for US AUTO SALES Insurance Claims Representative Salary in the United States

Position Summary

The Insurance Department is responsible for verifying insurance for all in house accounts. The Insurance Department is also responsible for handling all insurance claims and helping our customers with the claims process. This position requires insurance representative to communicate in a professional manner on a daily basis with insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Verify and update insurance for all in house accounts
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Contact insurance companies in reference to all insurance claims
• Follow up on claims with insurance companies in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow up on all intent to cancel insurance received from insurance companies
• Communicate and return all calls insurance companies in a timely manner
• Complete and submit Letter of Guarantee and any other forms required by insurance companies in a timely manner
• Contact and follow up with customer regarding open claims.      

Qualifications

• 2 years of College/ University or a minimum of 3 years related experience.

• PC literacy with a command of MS Office to include: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access,
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Goal oriented for improvement and advancement
• Ability to operate copier, fax and general office equipment.
