Job Description for Sales Enablement Director

Sales Enablement Director directs and leads a team that develops and implements sales enablement strategies and initiatives. Develops, implements, and executes the strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the department. Being a Sales Enablement Director defines and prioritizes department needs, manages initiatives, and drives strategies. Reviews key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of the sales enablement initiatives. Additionally, Sales Enablement Director evaluates, selects, and implements sales enablement tools and systems. Collaborates with other department leaders to ensure alignment in messaging and customer experience. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Sales Enablement Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Enablement Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
