Coaches and mentors merchandising staff to produce product assortments that reflect branding, buying trends and support seasonal customer demand. Additionally, Merchandising Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to a director. The Merchandising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
