The Assisted Living Caregiver assists with administering medications, documenting care provided, and communicating with healthcare professionals. Responsible for assisting residents with daily activities in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Being an Assisted Living Caregiver may accompany residents on shopping trips, medical appointments, and other outings. May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis. In addition, Assisted Living Caregiver requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being an Assisted Living Caregiver works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
