The Certified Pharmacy Technician collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Being a Certified Pharmacy Technician may prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Receives and stocks incoming supplies. In addition, Certified Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Being a Certified Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
The Surgical Technician Certified prepares equipment, instruments, supplies, operating room, and patients and ensure sterile field. Assists medical team with preparations for surgical procedures and during the procedure. Being a Surgical Technician Certified maintains inventory of sterile supplies.
