The Customer and Teller Services Rep fills the role of teller as needed, to provide coverage for absences or peak business periods. Provides assistance to account holders or tellers by processing transactions or responding to inquiries. Being a Customer and Teller Services Rep requires a high school diploma. Identifies opportunities for cross-selling and refers customers to appropriate bank personnel. In addition, Customer and Teller Services Rep typically reports to a manager. Being a Customer and Teller Services Rep gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision. Working as a Customer and Teller Services Rep typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
Teller I provides in-person customer service to process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and loan payments. Processes requests for money orders, cashiers' and travelers' checks, and foreign currency exchanges. Being a Teller I responds to customer inquiries, identifies needs, and makes referrals or cross-sells bank products and services. Prepares daily cash settlements and proof record for cash drawer and ATM following standard procedures.
