Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Emergency Room observes patients' progress, records observations in patient medical record, and updates attending physician directly when necessary. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
