Manages the spa facility. Administers, plans, and evaluates programs for all age groups. Hires, trains, and monitors the performance of professional spa personnel. Ensures that program goals are met and adheres to local, state, and federal regulations regarding cleanliness, accessibility, and safety of the facility. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
Greets guests, schedules appointments, and provides customer service to all spa clients. Recommends spa products and services based on client needs and expectations. Ensures that all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
