What is a Marine Tech?

A Marine Tech is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of marine equipment and systems on ships, boats, and other watercraft. They may work on engines, electrical systems, navigation equipment, and other mechanical and electronic components. Marine Techs also conduct inspections and tests to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and in compliance with safety regulations.
