Working with clients was fun. I liked that there was time for studying and time for hands-on learning as well. You couldn't miss any days without it counting against you. That was the only bad thing.

Please don’t work here. The turnover alone is reason enough to run. Upper management is a MESS and always has been. It baffles me that they owners are so incredibly out of touch with what their employees need. But hey, here’s a pizza party to gloss over being over worked and WAY underpaid. I became depressed and a shell of myself working here. I did love my co workers. But I watched the life get sucked out of each of them. They all either quit or were fired. Zero cultivation of good teachers. If you are looking at a job posting for them, please I beg you, run.

Working for advance beauty college seems great on paper, but that's about it. The training for staff is minimal at best. I saw instructors come in with 1-2 days of training before being thrown to the wolves alone. There is little to no consistency with any policies and rules seem to change on a weekly basis. Owners do nothing to retain quality employees and allow them to be bullied by other staff members. Very little care toward staff and students. Working with the students was the only positive aspect of the job. Sad that they don't seem to care about the quality of their institution and seemingly only care about their own wallets.

This place is a disaster. Unhappy students, unhappy teachers. Initially the place appears decent but within weeks you will realize you've made a mistake. Bathrooms are filthy, supplies are limited, owners are only concerned with collecting tuition. Low paying job with no room to advance. High turnover of teaching staff.

Not a good place to work. Management will stick you at the front desk and leave you high and dry. You may have to clean toilets and do stuff that is not in your job description, so watch out for that. The pay is extremely low and your days will seem to drag there. I would not recommend going to work here as you are expected to be perfect at everything and not make mistakes and there is not much room for growth in that position unless you go into one of the industries offered.

The people working there were really nice. They gave me a lot of beauty product and, on some occasion, food was brought to the employees. The only downside was that the files were not very organized and the storeroom was the same. Also, the office was very small and look somewhat decent. Files were on the floor or on a small cabinet, there was a bigger cabinet but because of the office u can't stand there and organize the files.

Everyone was close and like a big family. I was always learnig something new. The owners were always there for support when needed and very understanding if omething came up with a family issue.

At Advanced beauty college, you will be micro-managed. Front desk employees are not trained sufficiently but expected to know what to do immediately and will be scolded for any mistakes. The turnover rate is extremely high. The salon floor is a complete nightmare. There are no rules and no structure. No one is on the same page ever and there is no communication or leadership. This place desperately needs better management and a structured, positive learning environment. They continue to hire teachers without having adequate hours available. As a substitute you will be lucky to have one day a week and some are never offered any days period, unless one of the three core teachers is sick or unavailable. NIGHTMARE. Avoid this place if you can.
