ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 10% - Studies blueprints to determine sequence of operations and finished dimensions of work piece. 30% - Lifts, locates, secures, and verifies positions of work piece in fixtures, jigs, vices, tombstones, and table. 10% - Adjusts feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts, and tooling offsets. 10% - Mounts tooling in spindle, monitors tooling wear, sets tooling positions in relation to the work piece. 10% - Verifies alignment of work piece. 20% - Performs Quality checks, AQL's, & in-process Inspections. 5% - Recommend Continuous Improvement Initiatives for work area to supervisor. 5% - Cross training between work centers and cells.
