The Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad (BHVRS) was established in 1942. 73 years later, we are still proud to serve the citizens of Berkeley Heights and the surrounding towns. In 2014, the BHVRS responded to 840 calls, ranging from the flu to heart attacks to multi-vehicle car crashes on Route 78.
