Description The City of Merriam Public Works Department is seeking a seasonal Landscape Technician. The qualified applicant will be responsible for supporting the City's mission by helping to present well-maintained and landscaped public grounds. This seasonal position runs from approximately April 1 to October 31 (Overtime Eligible). Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: weeding, tree and bush trimming and pruning, operation of City-owned vehicles and landscaping power/ motorized equipment, rental pavilion set-up/clean-up, and general upkeep of the City's landscaped beds in a variety of weather conditions. Will perform other related duties as necessary and assigned.
