The Design Assistant is responsible for working directly with the Creative Director, meeting with assigned clients, and facilitating the completion of assigned interior landscape and commercial holiday décor projects. The Design Assistant will be expected to communicate professionally with clients, take spatial measurements and create design proposals, (including the creation of visual decks/mood boards), and close sales with the support of the Design and Sales department. Familiarity with engineering and design of automotive parts and systems. Working knowledge of TCE / CATIA, WERS, and Vis Mockup. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills. Experience with resolving complex issues and effectively communicating to management. Knowledge of engineering disciplines; Six Sigma, DFMEA, DVP, Certification Testing, GD&T, DFM, Variation Analysis. Knowledge of Ford Systems: CAD structures, TcE Study Files, CAD Release, WERS, GPDS. US location (PDC local area) preferred.
