Prior to establishing Cannon Associates, Art was an original member, then former President of Elmwood Sensors, a leading manufacturer of thermal sensors and contactors, serving a variety of industries, including aerospace manufacturers such as Rockwell Collins. The key to Cannon Associates' decades of success holds its roots within the team's core values and a deep commitment to serve their principals and customers. This dedication of building lasting, trusted relationships, spans upwards towards 30 years. In addition to Art, the Cannon Associates team consists of three highly skilled, experienced individuals, all of whom have been with the team for 25+ years. Although other qualified resources have left positive marks on the company, the core three, along with Art, are what have made Cannon Associates what it is today. Jack Donahue , formerly with C&K/Unimax Switch as a sales manager, joined Cannon Associates just after its inception. Jack's responsibilities include the Western Connecticut, Metro New York and New Jersey territories, branching out further as required. Weldon Cannon has been responsible for Cannon Associates' New England territory since joining the team in 1990. Mark Battista , formerly a design engineer with Modine Manufacturing, joined Cannon Associates in 1994 and shares the New England territory with Weldon. Sadly, on August 8, 2020, Arthur W. Cannon passed away, leaving a solid foundation built over the last three decades. Although he will be missed by all whom he has mentored or befriended over the years, Art's vision and legacy will endure.
