El Portal Middle Schools student population is approximately 650 6th through 8th grade students serving a predominantly rural/agricultural community. El Portal began as a 5th through 8th grade school in 1970. Students from four K-5 district elementary schools Collegeville, Dent, Farmington and Van Allen feed into our school.
