Job Summary In consultation with Development staff, initiate, coordinate, and manage all aspects of donor and prospect research. Collect, interpret, evaluate, and synthesize biographical and financial information on individuals. Develop in-depth profiles on major gifts prospects as assigned. Develop and maintain systems and timelines for prospect research. Analyze information and prepare reports, recommendations, and prospect lists to be used by staff. Maintain documentation of fundraising-related activities of the top major gift prospects and donors. Develop and implement strategies for identifying new prospects and disseminate information to appropriate staff. Monitor follow up on prospects by major gift officers and report accordingly to Executive Vice President Major Gifts. Work closely with the Raiser's Edge systems analyst to ensure the accuracy of information entered in Raiser's Edge on donors and donor prospects. Monitor on-line and print publications for sources of information
