ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee all aspects of the fleet maintenance function while establishing and maintaining a safe work environment and working conditions for employees. Ensure shop and vehicle safety practices are always followed. • Lead to create a culture of safety that ensure that every US Foods associate, our customers, and the general public with whom our drivers and fleet technicians interact remain injury free, always. • Interview, hire, and train all fleet technicians. Schedule all schooling and certification courses for technicians. Provide timely evaluations of all employee performance to support the progression of each associate. Fully understand and train associates on preferred work methods (PMWs). • Ensure all vehicles are in proper working condition by performing and/or overseeing maintenance on all company owned equipment. Provide the proper documentation and applicable certifications and ensure conformance with vehicle manufacture’s service recomm
