The In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority of Marin is a public agency that was established in 2002 by the Board of Supervisors. The IHSS Public Authority serves low-income elderly and disabled residents of Marin who require in home care services in order to remain safely in their homes. The purpose of the Public Authority of Marin is to improve the lives of In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) consumers by being a resource for skilled and trained providers.
