Recently, our Board of Education approved Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) days for the 2020-2021 school year in response to the threat of inclement weather. There can be a maximum of 5 AMI days per school year. To be considered an AMI day, instruction would be delivered virtually. Additionally, late start days were also approved. Instruction on late start days would start at 10:00 AM and conclude at the regularly scheduled time and daily schedules would be determined by the building administration. There are no limits on the number of late start days. Notifications for both of these types of days would be delivered the night before if at all possible and by 5:45 AM the morning of for sure. Jasper R-V will be extending the Seamless Summer Option for all students and community members, ages PreSchool through 18, from Sept 22 through the end of December or until federal monetary support is gone, if before then. Again, this includes both breakfast and lunch at no charge. Pickup for community members is at the Cafeteria located in Godfrey Activity Center. Hours for breakfast are from 7:45 am until 8 am and for lunch from 10:45 until 12:45. Menus will be those posted on the school website. Jasper R-V values the sacrifices that our members of the military make to insure the freedoms that we enjoy as Americans. We would like to honor Jasper R-V grads who have served or are serving in the armed forces. We are going to construct a Wall of Honor in the Tabler Gymnasium to honor both former and current military service men and women. To make this as inclusive as possible, we need your help in identifying those with military service.
