The Research Scientist will work in a diverse and collaborative neuroscience lab studying mechanisms of mechanosensation and motor control. The long-term goal of the Tuthill Lab (www.tuthill.casa) is to understand how proprioceptive feedback contributes to adaptive motor behaviors. To achieve this goal, this position will assist the PI and other researchers in investigating how mechanosensory neurons contribute to controlling dynamic behaviors, such as walking and grooming.
