MOUNT EVEREST BREWERIES LTD. (MEBL) was promoted by the promoters of Associated Kedia Group cwners of the fiagshlp company, Associated Alcohols & Breweries Ltd., lndore. The company manufacturers Beer for United Beers Ltd., as well as for their own supply. The state of the art manufacturing set up of the company is situated in Village Memdi, Simrol Mhow Road, Tehsil Mhow, District lndore in MP. The unit was established in the year 2005 and the trial production was taken in the year 2008. The commercial production of the unit was taken out in June 2009. The quality of the beer manufactured is excellent. The installed capacity of the unit at the time of project was 2.50 Lacs HL of Beer in 2008 and after subsequent expansions presently, the unit manufacturers 10 Lac HL cases of both strong and mile beer. While for United Breweries Ltd., the company manufactures King Fisher brand strong & mile Beer, the company manufacturers its own beer namely, Dabang, LeMount and Mount 5000. Making beer requires a lot of energy and water, but increasing brewery sustainability is at the forefront of the minds of MEPL. We are constantly developing methods to increase efficiency and ecological responsibility by reducing, reusing and recycling waste. Little-by-little we add up to something that we can be very proud of, said the managing director, Gopal Agarwal.
