The Ossining Children's Center, a nonprofit 501 C 3 child care center, was founded in 1895 to provide educational and enriching care to the children of immigrant women whose husbands were killed or disabled while working on the railroad or the Croton Aqueduct. Today, we care for over 160 children, ages 8 weeks through Grade 5, and offer a variety of early childhood and school age programs including infant, toddler, preschool and after school programs. We offer a full-day camp for preschoolers and school-age youngsters in the summer. We also offer a variety of enrichment programs, including: a summer film animation workshop, gardening program, gymnastics, music and more.
