Peruvian Hearts was founded in 2003 by 11 year-old, Ana Dodson. Ana was adopted as a baby from Cusco, Peru in 1992. After returning to Peru for the first time in 2003, Ana was moved by the extreme poverty she saw and in an effort to help the children of Peru, she decided to start Peruvian Hearts.
