Since 1979, Renton Christian School has offered: "Academics from a Biblical worldview in a Christ-centered environment in order to Disciple and to Evangelize students (A, B, C, D, E)." Such a commitment requires accelerated academic programs, 21st-century classroom technology, well-trained teachers, and quality facilities. For RCS to provide this, we must garner adequate funding, often times outside the giving capabilities of young families. Therefore, the school relies on generous gifts from parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, and foundations to support our mission. There are endless inspirational stories about students who have excelled in life because of the foundation they received at Renton Christian. It is important that the lives of students continue to be impacted through our programs and teachers. Yet, the cost of operating a first-class, private, Christian school rises each year and it is our desire to keep tuition as affordable as possible. We need the donations of our supporters to assist us with our annual expenses. There are three primary areas where we need the most help: tuition assistance for needy families, classroom technology and campus development. For 30 years New Life Church (previously Renton Assembly) has carried the financial burden of providing the facilities for Renton Christian School. Since 1995, the church has provided $13 million dollars worth of facilities for use by the school. Now "it's our turn" to aid in campus development by raising $500,000 for three main purposes:
