As a Chemical Engineer, you will work in a laboratory environment to support a team of scientists in handling a wide variety of R&D tasks. You will use your attention to detail and careful work with your hands to prepare chemical formulations, coat polymeric thin films, and characterize the fluids and films. Through your observation and communication skills, the data you collect and feedback to the team will help result in new cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities: Handle chemicals in weigh-outs and mixing of various fluids and powders at lab scale. Prepare thin films coatings with lab tools such as manual and automated draw-down applicators, laminator, and UV curing. Operate sensitive lab instruments such as viscometer, moisture analyzer, contact angle goniometer, resistivity meter, mechanical tester, TGA, and optical microscopes.
