Summary This position is located at the Gym and Fitness Center which is part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department aboard Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base New Orleans located in Belle Chasse, La. Incumbent serves as a Fitness instructor, personal trainer or group fitness instructor. Responsibilities Assists in coordinating and conducting base wide PRT training. Works in close contact with command representatives to identify specific areas of need. Arranges classes and provides workshops that support the command PRT program. Provides individualized fitness and nutrition training as required by individual commands. Conducts an ongoing variety of group fitness classes, both in the Gymnasium and the Fitness Center. Provides certified personal training and group exercise services to active duty military as outlined in the Navy's Physical Readiness Program instruction.
