Description: JOB PURPOSE: The Cook/Assistant Teacher is responsible for preparing and serving attractive, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for the children. This role will cook, clean, assist children during meal times. The Cook/Assistant Teacher is also responsible for implementing the curriculum and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encourage to succeed.
