Responsibilities include development/implementation of Emergency Action Plans, coordination of event medical coverage, communication plans, documentation of care plans, and assists department leadership to ensure appropriate supplies and support are available. The Athletic Trainer may also function as a physician extender, supporting patient care in our sports medicine physician office settings. The Athletic Trainer may also assist with treatment of patients in the clinical outpatient setting.
