As content marketer you play a vital part in bringing our brand and communication strategy to life and drive growth to our Talk360 International Calling app. You will have the unique opportunity to make impact and develop the Talk360 brand and community. Join our cutting-edge growth marketing team and turn customer insights and data into a content strategy across web, socials and in-app communication channels.

What will you do?

• Be responsible for Talk360’s global content and social media strategy working closely with local teams in South Africa to engage communities together.

• Create, publish and measure compelling content that drives customer acquisition, engagement and retention.

• Drive a structured content marketing calendar that is prioritised for business impact.

• Leverage our brand and community to create stories and UGC (user generated content) for marketing.

• Stay up to date on the latest content and social media best practices and technologies to develop new experiments for growth.

• Be a key communication stakeholder within the organisation and elevate the Talk360 brand positioning.

• Develop a deep understanding of our target audiences and create strategies on how to engage these communities.

• Ideate new marketing campaigns and experiments together with other specialists within the team (Paid acquisition, CRM, Visual design).

• Assist in content partnerships, brand development and public relation strategies.

Who are you?

• Excellent knowledge of one or more relevant social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, Twitter and/or LinkedIn.

• Experience with content publishing and distribution (frameworks like Hero, Hub, Hygiene).

• You are creative and resourceful while understanding the importance of measuring real impact and success.

• Several years of content marketing experience ideally in software/tech.

• You are a self-starter and have proactive ownership of your work, driving projects, having a hands-on approach, combining strategic with concrete actions.

• You have excellent communication skills, being able to share ideas in a concrete, critical, and positive manner, and collaborate with an international and multicultural team.

• Purpose driven; we are a calling app focussed on helping African Migrants stay in touch with their friends and family.

• You work organised, structured and have excellent copywriting skills.

• Technical expertise around SEO, automation and campaign measurement is a plus.

• Affinity with the African region or able to speak African languages is considered a big plus.
