    Position Overview

    As the Sr. Labor Relations Manager at Oncor, you are accountable for providing strategic Labor Relations (LR) leadership and tactical execution of Human Resource (HR) and LR initiatives within the assigned business organization(s), and consistent application of Oncor HR policies across all business organizations.

    This is a hybrid role based in our 777 Main St – Fort Worth, TX corporate office.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain labor-management relations, administering, and enforcing the provisions of the Labor Agreement.
    • Establish and maintain effective partnerships with function and senior level business management and gain an in-depth understanding of assigned business organizations’ business objectives, operations, and financial drivers and how they support Oncor’s overall business strategy.
    • Provide strategic LR leadership in support of assigned business organizations’ business objectives, operations and financial drivers.
    • In concert with function and senior level business management, develop, implement and routinely refresh a long range, strategic LR plans for business organizations with organized employees.
    • Develop and implement Labor Agreement negotiations strategy.
    • Represent the Company in Labor Agreement negotiations.
    • Liaise with function and senior level business management and various HR organizations to develop and implement programs and processes that enhance the assigned business organizations’ ability to achieve its goals and objectives, to include: Compensation, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Learning and Development.
    • Recommend, develop, and update HR policies.
    • Consult with function and senior level business management to help ensure consistent application of HR policies and Labor Agreement provisions across the Company.
    • Conduct investigations into allegations of employee misconduct, and partner with business management and legal to determine and implement appropriate corrective actions.
    • Oversee LR’s work with Legal in the preparation and presentation of the Company’s case in arbitrations and before various regulatory agencies and in court.
    • Conduct all HR/LR activities in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations and ordnances.
    • Manage and develop a team of Human Resources Business Partners.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills:

    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of a broad range of HR functions.
    • Demonstrated success in strategic plan development and implementation.
    • Demonstrated success in gaining acceptance and support for, and driving the implementation of LR initiatives.
    • Has experience managing and developing a team.

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 7 or more years of related professional HR experience with at least three years directly in Labor Relations required.
    • Will consider candidates with Bachelor’s degree AND 5 or more years of related professional HR experience with at least three years directly in Labor Relations required.
    • SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification required.
