The Applications Programming Project Supervisor sets the project delivery schedule and ensure the quality and budget constraints. Responsible for planning, communicating, implementing, and coordinating applications programming and/or systems analysis projects. Being an Applications Programming Project Supervisor supervises and supports team programmers to control development process. Allocates programming team resources according to projects needs. In addition, Applications Programming Project Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Applications Programming Project Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Working as an Applications Programming Project Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
