The EHR Application Analyst II consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's EHR application systems. Being an EHR Application Analyst II typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty, Epic/Cerner or similar certification. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. In addition, EHR Application Analyst II typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
