Job Description

The Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity Senior Manager designs procedures to ensure compliance with internal polices and external diversity regulations. Oversees the management of programs that promote employee and vendor diversity. Being an Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity Senior Manager researches, analyzes, and presents trends in the field of diversity, serving as an expert to develop new initiatives and stay abreast of competitors. Develops initiatives to foster knowledge and adoption of diversity and inclusion topics and best practices, and develops strategies to attract, develop, and retain members of underrepresented groups. In addition, Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity Senior Manager uses statistics, metrics, and reports to assess the progress and effectiveness of diversity initiatives. May be responsible for managing or developing diversity training programs. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Working as an Equal Employment Opportunity/Diversity Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
