The Records Imager and Processor prepares documents for scanning, scans documents, and verifies quality of digital images. Operates document imaging equipment to create electronic files or archives. Being a Records Imager and Processor troubleshoots and makes adjustments to equipment when necessary. Indexes and stores images according to organization guidelines. In addition, Records Imager and Processor typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Records Imager and Processor possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
